Observable Space
Observable Space is building an API for space—leveraging a distributed network of professional and amateur telescopes to make astronomical data more accurate, consistent, and accessible.
My first project focused on creating a new identity for the company. The goal was to establish a visual system that reflected Observable Space’s ambition while maintaining the precision and credibility expected of a scientific platform.
Next, I partnered with astronomers and astrophotographers to design the Observable Space platform itself. The platform enables users to monitor multiple telescopes and track a variety of targets across the globe through a single interface.
Designing for this space meant balancing complexity with clarity—creating tools powerful enough for experts while remaining approachable and intuitive to use.
Observable Space recently closed $90 Million Series A to Scale Manufacturing.
